Once again, Brad and Leo’s bromance stole the show this past Sunday – Variety said it best, the duo made the show and we just couldn’t look away from their special bond. The two grew close to one another on the set of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Not only was the film a massive hit but it would also lead to numerous awards for Brad Pitt in his supporting role as a stuntman. In true bro-like fashion, Brad thanked Leo during every single speech – it warmed our hearts even further. Here’s to hoping that we see these two in another film in the near future.
With the film and the award ceremonies on the backburner, let’s take a second to look back and enjoy some of the best pics that show their great bromance – we’ll also include some rare throwbacks pics from the past. Here are 15 photos of Leo and Brad Pitt that display their true bromance.
15 Leo And Brad Throwback
A throwback pic of Leo and Brad, during their younger days – both would go on to become among the more popular names in Hollywood.
Their bromance started way back when and there was another name that was also strongly associated with the two, scroll to the next entry to find out who!
14 Throwback With Johnny
It really doesn’t get much better than this ‘90s throwback, featuring some of our favorite actors including Johnny Depp – alongside the duo of Leo and Brad.
Who knows, maybe one day we’ll see these three alongside one another together in a film. Given all the controversy associated to his name, Depp can get a much-needed boost with such a role.
13 At The Oscars
According to the likes of Vogue, the best part of the Oscars was Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio’s friendship, one that we all got a glimpse of at the Oscars this past Sunday, as the duo sat together in the front row.
Of course, during his acceptance speech, Pitt thanked Leo, stating, “I’ll ride your coattails any day.”
12 After Party
Typically, after award shows, it is all about the after-party that follows – it features some of Hollywood’s finest celebrities; that’s usually when the real partying takes place.
We can only imagine how exclusive this party was, featuring the likes of Al Pacino and of course, the bromance of Brad and Leo. Both Brad and Al went up against one another this year for their brilliant supporting roles.
11 Emotional Moment
An emotional moment that fans totally ate up, Brad Pitt started off the night with a huge win at the 92nd Oscars ceremony for his supporting role in Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. Once his name was announced, Brad got up and hugged one individual, Leonardo DiCaprio, his best bud.
10 Selfie Time
These two aren’t the most active social media guys. Leo uses the platform to discuss environmental issues while Brad doesn’t have an IG account, though maybe his pal Jennifer Aniston might convince him to do otherwise in the future.
Nonetheless, Brad still takes playful selfies, like the one above.
9 Behind The Scenes
Given the plot of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, Pitt reminisced about his time when starting in the industry. He flash-backed with the LA Times on his earlier days in the business;
“I landed in Burbank at a house I could crash at for a month or so. It was just me and a maid from Thailand who couldn’t speak English. Man, I was just so up for the adventure, and so excited when I’d drive by a studio where they make movies. It meant the world to me.”
Leo also did some looking back with the LA Times; believe it or not, he was also rejected during the earlier portion of his career. Leo shared the rather unbelievable details;
“I kept getting rejected by agents. I think because I was a break dancer at the time and had crazy haircuts …”
7 Selfie With Marc Maron
Marc Maron is the envy of millions around the world, taking a selfie with our favorite bros, Brad and Leo.
The two megastars made several appearances promoting the film, one of which was alongside Marc Maron of the WTF Podcast. Of course, a selfie was an obligation.
6 The Trio
Margot Robbie was another star addition in Once Upon Time In Hollywood. Believe it or not, she landed the role of Sharon Tate based on a handwritten letter to Tarantino. She explains to E Online;
“I knew I always wanted to, just to say that I love his films and can I come see him on set one day. The timing worked out quite fortuitously, he had just finished writing Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood, but no one knew that. So he said, ‘Yeah, let’s meet up.’ And then we sat down.”
5 Together On Kimmel
It was a memorable moment on Jimmy Kimmel’s show, as a trio of talented celebrities interrupted his opening monologue. That included the bromance of Leo and Brad, along with their co-star Margot Robbie.
It was nice to see the trio completely loose and finally having some fun off the set.
4 SAG Awards
It was another night of the duo stealing the show at the SAG awards, though a lot of the fans were also buzzing over Jen Aniston, not only seeing Brad Pitt during the night but as well, her reaction over his victory.
Fans just can’t get enough of Brad’s bromance and past relationship with Jen.
3 All Smiles
It is safe to say that these two grew close to another during their time on the film and everything that pursued after it. The buzz remains around the duo, especially after all the awards shows.
Without a doubt, fans are hoping that the two can link up once again in the future, perhaps for another Tarantino flick.
2 Trio Goals
These three were able to capture magic with the film. Pitt elaborated with Collider on what it was like working with Tarantino;
“He has such a verve for the filmmaking process. He knows he’s not going to be there, but for 10 films, so it’s not going to be indefinite. He has such reverence for filming and for a film that, he makes a party out of it. He loves a story.”
1 Interview Magic
Now that the awards shows have come to an end, this is what fans will miss the most, moments between these two enjoying their time together while making us smile in hilarious interviews.
They usually consisted of Brad poking fun at himself while praising the humble Leonardo DiCaprio.
